Tietomaa Science Centre provides an exceptional diverse environment for different types of meetings, educational functions and presentation and information events close to downtown Oulu. Our auditorium has 210 seats, of which 120 are equipped with writing desks. The versatile technical facilities include an overhead projector, data video projector, slide projector, cordless microphones, a 9-speaker audio system, video conference equipment, www connections and Finland’s largest screen (16 x 12 metres). The lobby area of the auditorium serves as exhibition space and Tietomaa’s science section serves as an area for group work. An event can be supplemented with a visit to Tietomaa Science Centre exhibits and/or by a film in the big screen cinema. It is also easy to comprise an evening program from the Science Centre services, for example, for company interest groups. Tietomaa’s café-restaurant provides catering, everything from coffee and savoury snacks to serving at cocktail parties and luxurious dinners.
