with microwave technology

Metso Automation, which operates in the Technopolis in Oulu, is a part of the Metso Group. The unit was started when Kajaani Elektroniikka differentiated its research unit and located in Oulu. The reason behind this decision was the attractive operating environment offered by the City of Oulu (the university, VTT i.e. Technical Research Centre of Finland, a modern cellulose and paper mill), as well as better availability of skilled personnel than in Kajaani.
