Viestimaa is a well known company among the people of Oulu. After all, Viestimaa has been an important and prominent retailer of wireless telecommunications products, especially mobile phones, in Oulu for some twenty years. Viescomm, however, is less known although it is a part of the Viestimaa Group. It is also significantly younger than its parent company as it was founded in September 2001.
