Assistants for visits

The linguistically skilled assistants who know the region of Oulu are of great benefit to the visiting groups. The assistant welcomes the visitors at the airport, presents the programme of the visit, and takes the visitors to the hotel and the places they want to visit. The assistant also provides the visitors with interesting background information on the local and the Finnish society, culture and environment during transportation and social events. In addition, the assistant can guide the visitors during, e.g., shopping. The assistant prevents possible misunderstandings and problems from arising and helps the visitors to get the most out of their visit to Oulu. The assistant can guide the group during the whole stay or only on the first day, for example.
