Franzén is a high quality restaurant located in
a historically valuable Empire style building. The menu
includes Finnish fish, traditional steaks, and game delicacies.
There is a cosy small beer and wine bar in the cellar,
protected by massive stone walls.

Uusi Seurahuone,
Restaurant Hugo
A
giant step from the age tar to that of high technology
has been taken in the history of Seurahuone. During
both these principal periods of industry, there has been
a central place for socialising and gathering.
Currently,
that place is Uusi Seurahuone. Hugo is a fine
dining
restaurant at the heart of Uusi Seurahuone. Hugo is an
experience because of its surroundings, vast selection
of wines, and the international kitchen conjured up by
our chef is beyond comparison. Restaurant Hugo seats
36 customers. The restaurant was named for the
architect who designed the building, Hugo Neumann.

of
duck stuffed with morels, madeira sauce, chocolate
cake "Andalouise", white chocolate ice cream

Zakuska
Zakuska
is the first ethnic restaurant in Oulu. It is a cosy
Russian restaurant rich in feeling. The atmosphere is
completed with traditional Russian decoration, Russian
music and high quality menu.

Open: 3.00 p.m.-11.00 p.m., closed on Sundays, lunch
provided on request
Example menu: blinis with roe, Russian onion steak,
rum-flavoured crepes, tea in the Russian style.
